Dr. Spencer Lau

Dr. Spencer Lau is a native of San Francisco. After receiving a degree in Physiology-Anatomy from U.C. Berkeley, he went on to earn his doctorate from the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry. He then completed a one-year residency program in Hospital-Based/Rehabilitative Optometry at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Palo Alto. He is licensed to practice optometry to the fullest extent by the state of California. Dr. Lau is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Bay Area Optometric Council, and Santa Clara County Optometric Society. A successful contact lens wearer for over 25 years, Dr. Lau chose to have LASIK eye surgery in June 2008.

Dr. Helen Yau

Born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada, Dr. Helen Yau earned a degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario. She graduated from the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry and then completed a one-year residency in Contact Lenses and Pediatrics. Dr. Yau is clinically licensed to practice the broadest scope of primary eyecare by the state of California.
