Services | Professional Eye Examination
Our comprehensive evaluation includes the measurement of visual acuity, color vision, binocular vision and depth perception, focusing ability, prescription for glasses; health assessment to detect cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases; and computerized peripheral vision analysis. We listen to and will address all your questions and concerns.
Contact Lenses
We use premium lens materials and designs to achieve optimal vision, exceptional all-day comfort, and healthy eyes. Based on the visual and lifestyle needs of each individual, we will prescribe from a wide spectrum of lens types, including soft disposable, astigmatism-correcting (toric), bifocal, rigid gas permeable, and colored contact lenses. We will also recommend a specific care system that is compatible with your brand of lenses.
Computer Vision Analysis
We will evaluate your current workstation set-up, prescribe any necessary optical solution, and advise accordingly to relieve the eyestrain and fatigue associated with Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS).
Medical Eyecare
We are licensed to diagnosis, treat, and manage most eye allergies, infections, and foreign bodies, including dry eye problems.
Laser Vision Correction
We consult, refer, and co-manage with leading Bay Area surgeons for refractive procedures, such as CUSTOM WaveFront Thin-Flap LASIK. Dr. Lau, himself, had laser surgery in June 2008 and will share his personal experience with you.
Optical Boutique
We have a selection of over 1,000 fashion-forward frames and sunglasses, including Lafont, Gucci, Kate Spade, Fendi, Silhouette, Calvin Klein, and Giorgio Armani. We offer exclusive eyewear such as John Varvatos, Bevel, Coach, Kliik Denmark , LinkSkin, götti SWITZERLAND, and Kaenon polarized sunglasses. We also carry the Marchon Flexon collection, including AutoFlex and Nike. Our sunwear lines include Oakley and Maui Jim, as well as magnetic and custom clip-on sunglasses. Our expert opticians will help you select that perfect frame and recommend different lens options and coatings, based on your prescription and lifestyle. We are happy to fill outside prescriptions!
In-Office Lab
We perform all frame adjustments and minor repairs, such as screw and nosepad replacements, and can ultrasonically clean your glasses. We also offer polishing for RGP contact lenses.
Referrals
We do not know it all and we cannot do it all! We work with a network of medical and vision specialists when a case or condition arises that is beyond the scope of our abilities.

Facilities and Equipment | Our modern office is equipped with state-of-the-art computers and automated diagnostic instruments. In October 2006, we implemented electronic medical records (EMR) and are on our way to becoming a paper-less office. Patient records are securely saved electronically; accessing information is just a few keystrokes away. Our goal is to become as efficient as possible, saving valuable time for both patients and staff.
